My Favorite Non-Profit

Burma Humanitarian Mission
I am a founding member and on the board of BHM, an all-volunteer effort that provides training, medicines and other supplies to back packing medics in Burma. Every dollar donated by individuals goes directly to support these efforts. This year we also started to provide scholarships so children in Burma can attend high-school in neighboring Thailand.

Books I Love (with links to Amazon)
Conversations with God Neale Donald Walsch - I love this whole series. My all time favorite spiritual philosophy is that we are all part of a grand expression of the Divine to get to know and experience its self through ourselves. So get out there in life and love it and have grand adventures!
Simply Sacred Jennifer Zurick & Fern Feto Spring - Ruthless self-promotion. This book is fun and light, with lots of creative ways to connect with your partner.
The Power of Now Eckhart Toole - I had a lot of resistance to reading this book because the message seemed so simple, but it is a lovely read, and it's good to have reminders to come more fully in to the present moment. After all it's the only time life happens.
The Power of Intention Wayne Dyer - This book offers powerful tools for inner alignment around intention. It's great if you have trouble clarifying your intentions or are willy-nilly.
Power Versus Force David Hawkins - This is a useful book for looking at different levels of consciousness and how we evolve through them.
The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People Stephen Covey - I love this book. I thought it would be a book about getting stuff done, but it's actually a powerful book about relationships.
Kundalini & the Chakras Genevieve Paulson - Great meditations for integrating Kundalini.
The Soul of Money Lynne Twist - This book is an easy read and offers a lot of really valuable perspectives about our relationships with money.
How Can I Help? Ram Dass - This might be my favorite book of all time. I love the concept that we are of best service to others by empowering them. This book had a huge impact on the way we structured Burma Humanitarian Mission.
Embracing Our Selves Hal and Sidra Stone - This is a great self-help book for identifying parts of self and integrating them.
The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work, John Gottman - Very useful book about what keeps marriages happy and healthy. It's based on long-term studies of couples and what worked and what didn't.
